My sister sent me an excerpt today about Buddhist philosophy regarding art, which included the quote, “Creativity and service are one and the same; service is the life of the soul creatively expressed on the physical plane.”

A couple years ago I got my mind blown at a candlelit lecture in Costa Rica. The speaker was a young American ex-pat, just a normal Californian who’d educated himself on the micro-biotic aspect of agriculture and studied it while farming in various climates. “Dirt!
